Crayola makes a fine product for kids. I will stand by the fact that their products are geared towards affordability and student use. Their colored pencils are descent, and can be used to make art, as a professional, if you know what you are doing. I will sometimes sit down with my kids and color with them, using their crayola pencils, crayons, or markers, and I am reminded why I switched to Prismacolor years ago. That being said, I can still color a nice picture with their pencils, and crayons, but not so much their markers. These particular markers have the benefit of being washable with ease, and are meant to be durable, however, any 4 to 8 year old with a passion for grinding their markers as if they were making powder in a mortar with the marker as a pestle, will show you just how durable they really aren't. Luckily, the markers are cheap.
