I bought a handmade leather bag for travel, in order to carry the most basic (wallet, passport, cell phone etc.) I like the cognac color because it tends to improve with use itself, I mean that over time the patina that leather acquires is particularly attractive in this type of tone, it makes it timeless and very classic. But in order to start this long journey by my side, it required tanning the leather with a greasy finish, I needed to apply wax to condition it, that way it would be providing protection (waterproofing) and at the same time a lot of softness, prepare it for off-road use, that it does not have I have to worry about him under any circumstance or situation. To be honest I had my doubts about applying any type of solution (wax-soap-conditioner-oil) because my bag is a men's item and the last thing I look for is that it has a greasy or unpleasant feeling when I carry it in my hand. I had already read about a couple of products specialized in this type of skin care, but I read quite a few reviews of different brands and they mentioned that they left residue, they had a somewhat unpleasant smell things like that. COLORLOCK !! I am not disappointed in general, it is a product that when you apply it you can immediately notice the difference it spreads quickly, I like the fact that it does not leave residues that look like animal fats or some strange smell, drying is something to highlight it is very fast you can notice it you apply rubs - you apply rubs it is ready instantly, it gives a very good shine and the finish in general I like too much, to the point that I decided to rub a little on my old Baseball glove and the result was regular, it makes me wonder if in reality It works in old products, I mention it because I have not noticed renewal in the baseball glove, personally I do not know for sure since the only use I have given it is to apply it to the new surface of the leather of my bag. I do not like the fact that from my point of view the amount of product in general (cleaner and wax) is tiny, I think that a couple of ounces more would be ideal to be able to say that the price quality is correct. In general terms the wax works very well I would use it more for maintenance .
