Mr. Clean Multi-Purpose Cleaner, Gain Scent, 40 oz (2-Pack) – All-Purpose Cleaning for Kitchen, Bathroom, Floors & More

A while back I had a problem with flies and fruit flies in my house after mice died in my air vents. At first I tried vacuuming them up but it wasn't actually killing most of them and they'd get back out of the vacuum eventually. Squashing them leaves a mess, and is tricky. I had a spray bottle of windex multi-surface at the time. It was easy to spray the flies with it, and they dropped immediately. Occasionally you would need to spray the flies that dropped a 2nd time to finish them off. It worked fantastic for killing flies and cleaning, but when it ran out I wasn't able to find more due to people buying out every disinfectant product they could find. While the active ingredients weren't identical between mr. clean multi-surface and windex multi-surface, I decided to buy this and give it a try. I had bought other mr. clean products in past and was satisfied with them, so I figured the worst that could happen is this doesn't kill flies but I'd have plenty of a quality disinfecting cleaner. As it turns out, spraying this at flies and fruit flies drops them immediately as well. I no longer have a problem with flies or fruit flies, and I have plenty of refills of a well rounded multi-surface disinfectant that smells decent and works well.
