I started playing guitar years ago and was in a High School band. Bought this because it sounded like a great tool for practicing. I was wrong. It is an INCREDIBLE tool! Wish I had this back in the day, along with Ultimate Guitar and Guitar Pro.As you can see from the pictures, it works well in my American Strat. The concept is a little confusing.The Bluetooth connection is used to listen to external audio. Its purpose is simply to get sound from a Bluetooth source to wired headphones.This is how I've been using it. I turn the headphone amp on and it automatically starts looking for a Bluetooth transmission. It will look for its last connection and automatically connect to that transmission. Using my PC, I go to my Bluetooth settings and look for "B6", which is the headphone amp's broadcast ID. It connects as a speaker.Then, I attach an aux (3.5MM) cord to the headphone amp's output and my Soundcore Q30s (which has a jack for the aux cord). There is a little volume control on the headphone amp, so make sure that it is not at "0" if you can't hear any sound.Now that my guitar, PC, and headphones are all connected, I fire up UG or GP and the audio now plays through my headphones, and I can also hear my guitar, which I can set to any of the 5 settings: direct, chorus, overdrive, crunch, and Wah. Unlike just plinking away, I can hear the sustain of the notes. While I'm not going to be cutting any albums using this headphone amp, it provides decent tones across the board. The compact size makes it virtually weightless and I can walk around playing with the only limitation being how far I can get from the Bluetooth source (if I'm using it).HIghly recommend this great tool, and good luck on your journey to be the next Jeff Beck (RIP)!
