After trying Mrs. Meyer's hand soap at a vacation rental, my family members campaigned for me to buy some for our home. The rental provided the Basil scent, which we all loved. I ordered 3-packs of that scent and 3 other scents, with the assumption that we would enjoy them as much as before. These soaps are nothing like the experience at the vacation rental! We all believe that these soaps at Amazon are some sort of knock-off made by a third-party contractor. The soap does not lather, so you will tend to use more, and the scents are so off-putting!!! They are totally different from the original experience. the four scents I ordered were--Rhubarb, Lemon Verbena, Basil and Bluebell. They are listed from most disgusting to least offensive. You're welcome. The Rhubarb is a cross between raw rhubarb and dirt (NOT rhubarb pie), the Lemon Verbena smells like prairie grass after it's been in a heavy rain then the sun comes out, making it steam out a "this is why I hate humidity" smell. The Basil has an herbal smell of some combination that should never be, and the Bluebell is a little too floral. Because the Bluebell is the least offensive of the scents I tried, I gave it a 3-star. The other scents had to be marked down further. Buyer beware; I will never buy these soaps again.Works well and has pleasant fragranceI really like the soap and it smells wonderful! I would caution about buying other items with this soap, of the 3 bottles one spilled half its contents on the rest of my order and another spilled out some too.The smell is delightful and whenever I use Mrs. Meyers. This soap doesn’t dry out my skin. I used versions of this soap through last winter in the northeast and it’s the first winter my hands didn’t crack. Highly recommend.You can also dilute with water and use in a foam bottle to extend the usage.Itchy hands when you use random soap? Have you tried a natural soap? Look no further! Mrs. Myers products are amazing. They fill my house. Hand soap, body wash, dish soap, multipurpose cleaner and more. She has saved my skin. The smells are wonderful. Bluebell is my hubs personal fav.Oh my god the Bluebell scent smells awful. Lol. It smells like something you'd clean with. Doesnt smell pretty for hands. My hands are soft and clean, though, I'm just gonna get through these and then try the other scents and try to update my review for the rest of them as I go.Love these products. Great daily hand soap, but doesn't really have the wonderful fragrance that I've come to expect from the Mrs. Meyer's product line.My mom loves the Meyer’s brand and we wanted to see what this one was like. The bluebell smell is amazing! It’s very fresh with a lovely floral scent. It doesn’t have that cheap soap smell.
