The lick pad is the best thing ever. The brush works great for bathing and de-shedding.So I bought this to use as a silicone brush for shedding. The brush works well, but it doesnt catch the hair in the inside teeth of the brush, it instead just piles up on the animal or falls to the floor. My german Shepard is going through his first shedding season so I've been trying all sorts of brushes and I wish I bought a different product. The brush is incredibly stiff and is hard to clean.On the bright side, this works really well for grooming my cats! I spent less than 2 minutes on my grey cat and got a pile of fluff. I also used it on my other cats and they seem to enjoy the brush so I suppose I'll use it for them.Bought this after finding out my dog prefered a brush silmilar to this one when he stayed a few days with family while I was out of town. He loves this one! Easy to hold and since it doesn't have a handle it fits nicely in the 'dog stuff' basket!This works ok my my cats. (They don't like it).But I got it for rag quilting. It did nothing for me. That's why the low review from me. Sure for animals it great. I was told to get this as a tool. Not good ? ? ? ? for ragging.So helpful at bath time!!!When bathing my dog, I feel like this helps me scrub more thoroughly and it makes the shampoo go further. My pup loves when I scrub him and just closes his eyes and relaxes when I'm washing him.
