In the realm of hand soaps and cleansers, MRS. MEYERS FOAMING SOAPS are my favorite... and I've tried MANY! While bar soaps on the sink top is quite cost effective, it is nevertheless messy, unsanitary, and so passé. Yes, the advent of liquid soap was a step forward, however I found it often difficult to thoroughly rinse the soap from my hands, thus leaving a residue. Now we have FOAMING SOAP! HOORAY! A hygienic hybrid allowing easy dispensing, cleansing, and thorough rinse.What I like about the MRS MEYERS brand is that it is so versatile, offering different modes of utility; gel soap, liquid soap, foaming soap, as well as a miscellany of products, soaps, detergents for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry and general cleaning... and don't get me started on the vast variety of scents available for said products. As some people have aversions to certain scents, it therefore makes perfect sense to offer a variety of such to accommodate prospective customers. I have personally tried several scents within the MRS MEYERS product line. Most scents have been great; some barely detectable; some even headache inducing to either myself or a family member. Definitely a trial and error experience. I think I have settled on the LAVENDER scented products. It seems a happy consensus amongst our tribe.The FOAMING version of HAND SOAP is our favorite, though. So easy to dispense from the pump bottle; easily mixes with tap water to provide an ample lather; super easy to rinse -AND- with the added bonus of a mild residual scent on your hands after use (fantastic for Moms who utilize their nose in performance of spot check kids who adamantly insist that they've washed their hands) HA! Another great feature of the MRS MEYERS brand is that they offer so many options/scents to refill your original containers which makes it more convenient, space saving, and more likely than not, cost effective. I have come to love the mini 2oz foaming hand soap bottles that mix flawlessly with tap water to fill a 10oz hand soap pump. (Now at 2+ years utilizing the same pump bottle.) INGENIOUS!2.5 YEAR UPDATE: Unfortunately, after about 2.5 years consistent use of my original MRS. MEYERS FOAMING HAND SOAP PUMP BOTTLE (supplemented by refills) has resulted in failure of the pump apparatus on the bottle. (Despite diligent flushing/cleaning during refilling, the pump remains in the down position, refusing to ascend.) This malfunction of the pump isn't the end of the world, nor does it mean that I will discontinue use of the (convenient to use and store) refills. HOWEVER, it may be important for some to know that the COST of one of the 4 boxed 2oz refills versus COST of 4 full size new bottles of MRS. MEYERS FOAMING HAND SOAP exceeds or is about EQUAL in cost, therefore being NO REAL ADVANTAGE (other than perhaps providing a bit more storage space). For me personally, I will continue to purchase the 2 oz refill sets (when appropriately sale priced), and simply purchase another MRS. MEYERS FULL SIZE PUMP BOTTLE when failure of the pump bottle apparatus on one of our dispensers becomes apparent.
