Only got 3 good prints of my kitty’s front paw because cats do what they want. So glad I read the suggestion someone else said about not pressing the paw, the weight of the cat’s own body weight was perfect.My biggest gripe was there were no instructions whatsoever in the package, had to come back to the original listing to find instructions.And also finding the best advice from past reviews instead of the seller.But I would still totally recommend this product to anyone trying to capture their pet’s (or human’s) foot or paw print.I bought this to get a paw print of Mt cat before I euthanized him. He didn't mind the process whatsoever, and I was so happy to find something easy to use to give me one last paw print. I'm still grieving intensively, but I'm happy I can look at Louie's paw print by his urn. It went so well, I printed 2 other cats with ease right before their surgeries...just in case. I'm happy to add their surgeries went well, but at least I have paw prints of them. I plan on gifting a set to my sister and friend so they can paw print their furry minions as well.I ordered this product to make pawprints and nose prints of my cats. It will work but it needs a bit of finesse. It doesn't require much pressure to make the print. If you hold down on the ink pad the print will be solid black with little to no detail. I tried my own thumb print for reference. The pads can be used more than once but you have to move to a different spot of the ink. Obviously, cats are not always cooperative lol but overall I think this is a good product. It is clean and makes nice prints as long as you are able to hold what you are printing still. I found that it worked best when I had the card on a flat hard surface. I wish I had known about these and had them when one of my cats recently passed away.My son's dog was 17 and a half years old. We bought a set of these and my son was able to get amazing imprints of his paws it was extremely easy and he took those imprints to his tattoo artist and had the Four Paws made into a tattoo these prints work so well that the little hairs in between Blaze's Paws could be seen we ended up losing Blaze on April 8th but a wonderful product with many different usesThey are very easy to use for ‘pet paws’. Just need to make sure they don’t wiggle cause the prints will smudge. Looking forward to giving them as gifts.I bought it for my dogs’ paw prints, some of them came out too dark, some are incomplete print. Needs some luck and practice to get the perfect print. Can’t really reuse any of the black pad after one use. But I really like the product idea, where there will be no ink left on their paws, so no clean up.Super easy to use.Very difficult to get your dog to quit wiggling to get him to stick his paw in one place even for a second though.Would imagine it’s much better for babies than puppies.I ended up with these lovely prints for my tattoo, but it took a few tries. My cat hates her paws touched and hates being picked up. Trying to press her paw into it did not work. I ended up just picking her up and placing her down on top of it. Her regular body weight was perfect. She was not happy.I accidentally used the ink side on her paw. Turns out this ink is non-toxic, thankfully!I have only received 1 ink pad but the description state Package contents:4 x Clean touch ink pads10 × White imprint cardsVery disappointed, especially as I am saying goodbye to my beloved dog tomorrow and now have no time to order another ?It only really works if your dog willingly steps onto it.If you try and press it against their paw it isn't very effective. Any wiggle or resistance will lead to smudging and imperfections. I had to use all of them in order to get just one that looked somewhat like a dogs paw.My best result came from taping the ink part to the card and then taping some cardboard on the back of the card. This reduced sliding around by a lot.Difficult to get prints.Only 4 pads included and 10or so pieces of card.You can only use the ink pad once so despite what it says, you only have four chances to get the print.There are better options out there like the inkless ones which are a wipe and special paper. Much easier to use and has many more attempts to get the print as you can reuse the wipeWorks surprisingly well! You can use the pads a number of times until ink is worn off, got 8 prints out of one pad for thank you cards. Would recommend and buy againEasy to use but can be a bit messy with a wiggly baby! Wipes off skin fine though.We did our 2 cats and 2 dogs paws aswell as our newborns hand and foot print. Now looking for a suitable frame to put them all in!
