I love this collar! We adopted a little rescue Jack Russell mixed with something larger and at 5 months old she's 19 pounds with an almost 12 inch neck. She's ACTIVE- we have 12 acres in the Texas hill country- and she loves to run, climb rocks, and play in the water. The thin little snap-on dollar store collar I bought has not held up- in addition, it looks super dirty and is difficult to adjust for size. The reasons I love this collar- 1) OK this is stupid but the color is awesome- I bought it in RED and the color is bright and totally POPS on my little black and white dog 2) The buckle is SOLID and makes sizing it on my dog EASY- I ordered this in MEDIUM and at this point we're using the second to smallest/shortest hole- the very smallest is just a bit too tight. SO I still have three holes left for growth- I doubt we outgrow the medium size 3) Even though there is extra unused length, it doesn't stick out and look crazy- PLUS my very chewy, nippy dog is not able to reach it and chew it up 4) The width is great- any larger would be cumbersome, so I like this "max" width on my dog 5) I used the ring that attaches the airpod/locator thing (which I'll never have/use) to attach my dog's rabies and ID tag- it looks sharp and the ring is sturdy 6) Lastly, I was able to attach my dog's leash to the red plastic ring that holds most of the extra unused collar back- it's thick and sturdy as well. I already ordered an extra collar in the same color because the color is PERFECT and I want to keep an extra one on hand just in case. As far as comfort- my dog has short, wired hair- she seems fine with this on and has not tugged, tried to chew it off or freaked out. Another reviewer mentioned that it was just like a name-brand collar called Wild One, and while I have no idea what those look like, this brand really seems quality- I'm so glad I went with it! It's kind of fun spoiling this little rescue puppy and even though she's so scruffy she looks so SO cute in this red collar that I think will last us a long time!This collar has done exactly what I wanted it to. This collar repels water, doesn’t stink and is very easy to clean. The only thing I had difficulty with was how thick the D-ring was to put my dogs tag on it. Had to use pliers to install dog tag.I tried many other collars for my cats,this is the best they stay soft and they don’t fray when the cats scratch themi wanted daily collars for my dogs to wear that didn’t get stained or stinky from being outside all day like their other collars do, and this is just what i was looking for. they’re exactly like the Wild One collars but for less money! the colors are exactly as pictured. i would definitely buy again.My dogs neck kept breaking out in a rash and I finally realized it was probably his collar. Once I switched to his waterproof dog collar his neck looks so much better. It’s very easy to clean just wipe it with a wet wipe and it’s good as new! Love it ?We ordered four of these in different colors along with matching leashes...don't hesitate just buy!!Very cute and easy to clean.
