Like many people I got swept up into the Stanley--or faux Stanley in my case--mania, but I found them inconvenient because if you're having a lazy day you cannot throw them in the dishwasher. I was dubious about how clean the straw actually got and there was still that subtle stainless steel taste.That's why I fell in love with the W&P bottle and ended up getting a second one from Amazon a few months after I bought my first from a brick and mortar store. The coating really does mask the steel taste and it keeps drinks very, very cold. I think it did a better job than my other mugs.At 16oz it's obviously smaller than the 40oz monsters, but IMHO that's not a bad thing. I think it helps me drink more because it doesn't feel like a daunting amount to finish, and it's much easier to take on the go.I also love that I can put it through the dishwasher and so far it hasn't been affected. Some people in their reviews mentioned scuffing. The one I've had the longest has the smallest scuff on the top, but I haven't noticed any issues from it.If you're looking to bougie out on a water bottle, I highly recommend this one! Plus the confetti on the white background is so cute.
