The song"Run"ALONE would make this entire album superior to ANYthing put out by the vapid music industry in the last decade with its POWERFUL concept of ones instinct to FLEE pain, despair and emotional trauma!! The songs end is SO beautifully poetic with:"The tears will fall;MY tears will...........RUN!! Then she also exemplifies the sheer desperation of her flight from abject pain by cramming a DECADE worth of anguish into 7 seconds of an angst-laden cry of:"RUN"!!!" The actual scale of her pain can be perceived in the 2nd mention of the word:"break" with:"TRY to catch my breath,if,ONLY for a second;just a small confession, straight from my heart....break......I.......BREAK!!!" "OMG I Miss You"really displays the trauma of separation from a true loved one. The annoying question:"Are you alright?"in the midst of emotional devastation is answered with an honest:"I am NOT"myself"it's HELL on Earth;DROWNING in this"well"of love ON fire!!!"and:"O' my God,I miss your"song";when I COUNT the hours it's been too long;please don't say THIS love is gone;O' please just LET me--------------ramble. A mature recognition of a bad situation is:I know I'm BETTER-off alone and LONELY;but this house is NOT a home without YOU here----------------------to HOLD me!!" Even a RARE,never-admitted cause of a lot of break-ups"is touched upon with:"I know I'm selfish, all alone and lonely;I broke your heart and disappeared;the FEAR of being yours----------------ONLY!! I know I'm selfish;all alone and lonely!!!"Cupid Shot Me"showcases the plight of one"finished"with trying to find love, and vowed never to attempt to succeed at it again, but encounters one who extirpates all their defensive "walls"and pulls them once again into the"arena"of romance totally unawares. This is perfectly conveyed with:"OOh,I can hear your call;don't wanna be all alone;just catch me when I fall!! I DIDN'T want to fall in love;but I'm SO in love with you;I don't know WHAT to do;I can't be SCARED of you!!" "You And I"chronicles two lovers separated by circumstance, and try to redeem the relationship against insurmountable obstacles showing that the emotion of love is an irresistible force when armed with a noble objective."Streets of London"is a song to be understood only by those cultured souls who've lived the big-city experience while being totally alien to yokels who've hailed below the Ohio River,as it calls to mind a stoic environment where the strong ONLY survive and one must"make it"pn their OWN!! Marshas' mature, cultured musical content hints that she hails from a place where dignity abounds unlike the uncouth, unrefined South,in sprawling, densely populated cosmopolis London!! This album is GENIUS!!
