I set both of these out in an active area before going to work. We had a very heavy rain storm that day. Both were tripped when I got home. I assumed it was the rain and swollen ground, however, the activity in that area has stopped. About a week later, my dog indicated some fresh activity in another area. I set both traps and within 30 minutes, 1 of them tripped. This time I dug up the ground with the trap and confirmed a kill.....about 45 mins later the other tripped and another confirmed kill. Previous attempts with the plastic version all failed but these work.
