I didn't return it, so apparently I decided it's worth it, though even at $200 off, it was insanely expensive. Cognitive dissonance? My gripes: you can't stand it up while you move stuff out of the way or answer the door, you can't put it back in the stand with any of the accessories on or with the wand extended at all. If you use an attachment, the long handle with the main head, has nowhere on the stand to go and won't stand up on its own. The thing that sucks the dirt out of the cup, a very cool feature, doesn't get all the dirt out, and the dirty looking cup is a bummer. Sometimes, when you press the dirt-suctioning button, the lid doesn't open. And then it doesn't automatically close after, so several times, I have started vacuuming, and then notice the stuff is flying out the bottom of the cup b/c I didn't close the grody lid! The accessory stand/battery charger is separate from the main stand, and if it's on the floor, it's a pain, but putting it on a table, separate from the stand, is just weird. What I like, the stand idea is cool. I can leave it out in a fairly central location. I have a very small place so I haven't used the second battery yet. The digital readout of the battery is a nice feature. In spite of all my gripes, I haven't used my big clunky canister vacuum or the cordless standing vacuum since I got this. And my very favorite thing is that I have discovered it works wonders for sucking up mosquitoes that have managed to get through my multiple layers of screen (a whole different review.) I guess for the price, I expected it to be better. But returning the ginormous thing was daunting, and it's good enough. I hope this rather wishy washy review is helpful to someone!I rarely write reviews, but buckle up, here’s my take on this vacuum. I LOVE it! My daughter has the Samsung 70 pet stick cordless, and I’ve enjoyed using it whenever helping out at her house. So lightweight, yet does a great job. Hers hangs nicely on a high wall outlet. I don’t have that option at my house, so loved that this has a stand it sits and charges on with the self-cleaning dust bin (which I didn’t think I would want or need, but heck yeah!) This thing does an awesome job! No more using my cheap stick vacuum for my hardwoods and then dragging my canister vac out for the carpets. It does a fantastic job on it all. I did my entire 2,000 square foot house on one battery (though love it has a spare) in about 30 minutes. Pricey, yes. Worth it, absolutely!Cat hair and loose dirt can very easily get stuck when moving from the main pole to the filter box.The good news is that the vacuum detects this, shuts off suction and turns it back on again (a bit like ABS), to try and clear the blockage, but ultimately just turns off and says "Blocked".This isn't a major issue, but it does happen way more often than any vacuum i've ever used before, so I tend to spend time manually cleaning out the box more than I would expect for a vacuum like this.When you connect it to the dock, it does not automatically empty in to its bin. You have to press the button to initiate it. It would be good if this waited 30 seconds or so then triggered it automatically.It also doesn't seem to close the door on the bin. So sometimes you'll pick up the vacuum to use it, and notice that the door is open (or don't notice it and when trying to clean dirt just doesn't get picked up or falls out as quickly as it enters the dirt box).It's very light weight and easy to maneuver, so I would definitely recommend for anyone that needs something that fits that description, but you have to turn the power up to full in order to get equivalent suction to a wired vacuum, at which point the battery only lasts 15 minutes. This is not long enough (even with 2 batteries) to do an entire 2700 sq ft house. A stronger battery is necessary, and I wouldn't be mad if a battery that weighed twice as much with 2-3 times the charge could be used, because this thing is so light that it wouldn't be a problem to have a much heavier battery.I absolutely adore my new vacuum! No more cords, it has 3 suction levels and comes with an extra battery! If I could marry a scout would be this one!!
