Delta Faucet 57014 Chrome 3-Spray Wall-Mount Slide Bar Handheld Shower with Touch-Clean Technology and Hose - Perfect for Bathroom Renovation and Spa-Like Shower Experience

We bought it as a replacement for our old one. The first one lasted 10 years. My little kid dropped it on the granite floor and started leaking. We are pleased.Product support from Delta for this product is awesome. I bought and installed this bar/hand held shower in August of 2016. Last week (over three years latter) the part that holds the hand held shower broke. I couldn't find the replacement on Amazon or at any local hardware store but I did notice a lifetime warranty notice on some Delta products in the store. So on a whim I called Delta customer service. Not only did they answer the phone on a Saturday they are sending out a replacement part this week --at no cost to me. I talked to two people and both were great to work with. Hats off to an excellent support team and a commitment to product quality that goes beyond just being appealing in the store, on the day of sale, to performing reliably 3 years latter in my home.Installation was very straight forward. The hardware mounts very solidly and the positive adjustments show that the manufacturer put some effort into making a quality product. Love having the benefit of a wall mounted shower at standing or sitting height with the added value of a hand-held.Nice wand it looks and works very well, but the paint is chipping on the wand hose after like 3 months. The head of the wand is hard to get the soap scum off of. We have the matching fixtures everywhere else in the bathroom including the shower trims. No where else us the soap scum nearly as hard to clean off.The picture on Amazon at the Delta Faucet Store shows that piece, but it's not included in the set. Interestingly, only the Champagne Bronze pictures are deceiving in this manner; the other pictures for 57014 models with different finishes DON'T show the wall piece (and you won't get it), but I think most people would assume when you get the set, it comes with a wall connection. Nope, that's an additional $42 ($88 on Delta.com!!) As a minimum, the description should TELL you that you'll need to buy that piece in addition, to avoid an installation day debacle like we had.Just OK, I had to modify it to prevent the shower holder from slipping down. The hose that came with mine was a cheap stiff plastic one and the shower itself was limited in function. I bought it for the main wall mount and swapped out with a better Delta hand shower and hose. Also even though it's mounted to a stud, it seems a bit flimsy...I thought it would be a bit more solid as a hand hold but I'm not sure if I would trust it for that. On the good side, the finish has held up over time and it looks nice.Missing the actual shower head. Only the hose and mounting hardware were enclosed in the box.Delta products always seem to be good. This one is well made - except for cheap plastic hose made to look like stainless steel. I read other reviews carefully before buying and saw this so I bought the real stainless hose and am much more satisfied with it. The installation instructions are poor and I give it 4 of 5 stars for that. One thing to note - when installing the bar they don't give you much wiggle room on the mounting hole centers!! so be careful if you are drilling in tile.Only problem is now i have to buy the other matching parts haha. This thing is clean, the flow is good, and the lock works wonderfully.Very happy with this shower faucet. Matches my bathroom perfectly.BeauPoorly designed. ?The side bar is too close to the wall making it difficult to adjust and move the shower wand.Came without wall elbow connection!!
