These are great rocking chairs, surprisingly comfortable and also very chic looking on my patio. I was down a screw or bolt, and also managed to strip another one (you really, really, really, must tighten them all slowly by tiny amounts at each bolt until all are tightened, and resist the urge to tighten up any of them completely ahead of any of the others because they are rather soft centered and they will be slightly misaligned with the holes, and the force to pull them to recenter with the holes will strip them), and could not find a decent outdoor suitable replacement. I contacted the company and they had no replacements but gave me a credit toward hunting down my own. I eventually found some online that are suited for outdoor use. I think they are 6m and 1.2 inch and had standard threading, but the tricky part was finding some suitably rust resistant that also didn’t stick out far and look funny next to the others. I eventually got it sorted. These are made by a company from, if I recall, the Netherlands, and I think they are a fantastic design and function, and a great bargain. I highly recommend them.
