I took this on a three week trip to Italy in March and was able to get about 3 days worth of clothes in it along with a few other random clothing items. It was really nice to be able to separate clean clothes from dirty clothes especially since all I had was a large back pack. It fit really well in my 40L pack once compressed and I even had enough room in it to bring back three oil paintings from Venice laid flat for the trip home. There was plenty of room in this packing cube and I never had a problem with the zippers. It does come with some extra little storage pockets but I didn’t end up needing them. The only issue I noticed someone might run into is if you’re not careful when you zip it up, the stretching fabric inside the part that compresses, could get stuck in the zipper. But the fabric is pretty sturdy and stretchy and it wasn’t a huge problem for me. Otherwise a great packing cube and I plan to use it on other trips!
