The bag was too large. I was looking for about 10 lbs. and could not envision liters. The size of the granules was also larger than expected. Not sure how to figure without seeing it in person.Having said all that, I use ground corn cob for cleaning brass cartridge cases, so it may still be fine for litter. Just needs a better description.Corn Cob is great bedding for small animals like mice, gerbils, birds, etc. I used it for quite some time for my 2 mice and it works pretty well. At first, I was worried about the scratchy edges of each cob, but my mice did fine an their feet weren't hurt. It has very high absorbancy but watch out for all that dust! Some companies seem to have more dust than others. These people seem to have a lot of dust compared to Kaytee. If you touch it with your hands , you can see all the dust on your fingers. It didn't seem to bother my mice, but I decided to switch to Kaytee's Cob bedding after I finished this one. Kaytee's turned out to be less dusty in comparison, but its much more expensive for much smaller quantities. Currently I'm trying Carefresh Natural and am seeing how that turns out.Love, perfect for using at that the bottom of our birds cageMy bird only want this bedding in his cage. It’s been so nice to have it delivered right to the door.It absorbs well and helps keep the cage from smelling. It doesnt take but 2 cereal bowls to fill the bottom. I could let it go for 2 weeks if my birds didnt keep throwing their veggies down there too.Product works good for polishing brass and copper in a tumblerOrdered and paid for 23L bag, but received a 5L one. Mistake or Fraud?
