I thought the silver was gimmicky. But decided to try it and have noticed a difference. The bristles still wear out at the same rate. And the tapered tips don’t penetrate quite as far as some other brands. It is still my favorite manual brush so farGood toothbrushMy top favorite toothbrushes! I found these at a Whole Foods 4yrs ago and have since used only these. They’re antibacterial, which is a plus for me, but also make my teeth feel SO clean and don’t scratch my gums at all like most toothbrush’s will. They last a long time too before the bristles start to fold outward. My teeth/mouth have never felt so clean without being sore afterwards. I highly recommend these from this brand!Seriously! I love this toothbrush, it’s the best one out there, I’ve tried all different kinds, I’m always looking for the next best one, but this is it for me, I feel like this manual brush would give any electric one a run for it’s money, just buy it! You won’t be disappointed!I have used these Dr Plotka brushes for years and they are an excellent 5-star brush. No real complaints. However. My wife has sensitive gums and needs to use an extra-soft brush to avoid gum damage. Dr Plotka brushes, while soft, are still too harsh for her, so I was excited to see that "extra-soft" brushes were now available from Dr Plotka. EXCEPT they're not "extra-soft". The "extra-soft" in the Amazon description must mean something else because the brushes received are all labeled "SOFT" just like the ones I normally buy. I'll use them myself eventually, so no real loss, but just be aware when you see "extra-soft" and get all excited, because you'll be disappointed. Maybe we can get Amazon (or Mouthwatchers) to remove the "extra-" in the description. Highly recommended otherwise.Another similar brush that I found at H-mart years ago is my favorite. Couldn’t find it, and came across this which is also Korean. Then I found a set of the others, but decided to try this instead, and even though it’s a bit more expensive, it was a single brush which was all I needed. My first impression was that it is stiffer than I wanted, and made my gums bleed a little, but that may be because my old favorite had softened up over time. And sure enough, after using it a while (more gently!), it is plenty soft. I do like the design. The shape of the head is very accommodating and comfortable, and the varied lengths of the bristles as well as their individual tapering make the brush clean well between the teeth. Overall, I do recommend this brush for those who need a soft, or even very soft toothbrush.I brush and floss after each meal and snack. Go to dentist every six months for checkup. My teeth were still not as clean or white as they should have been…even with all that! I got this toothbrush and could tell a difference immediately. I went to my dentist and the hygienist’ work was much easier. Hardly any work for her. The toothbrush made the difference! I am a senior citizen and I know that toothbrushes you buy in box stores don’t last very long now. Not made like they used to be. Considering I can use this brush longer than “store bought” ones they probably are no more expensive but the job they do is better. I’m sold! This toothbrush would be great but it feels like it’s brushing my gums away. It’s not at all soft.I really like this toothbrush, though it is very expensive! It does however clean your teeth really well and the bristles seem to be sturdy. Initially it seemed it might be too firm but I have had no issues and my gums are quite sensitive. Despite the price I will purchase again.since switching back to this manual brush... the hygenist has spent a fraction of the time picking at my teeth and reports everything is very good.A rubbish toothbrush at a high price. A total waist of time. This would have been a very expensive toothbrush, but I did send it back and was given a refund, so just an error, I suppose. These are great brushes and I have used them for years.Great brushSoft yet firm
