This is a lightly scented candle. It came in a very sturdy box that was sealed on one side with a slender tab. Inside was the candle which has a silver lid, an offer of a discount, and surprisingly a book of matches; everything you need to enjoy this candle. I lit it last night to enjoy with a bubble bath and was pleased at the subtle scent. No scorch marks meant clean burning. Very nice set up for gift giving.
