I was listening to the radio one day when this band come on and I couldn't believe how great they sounded. The riffs of the guitars, the rhythms of the drums, and the voice of the lead singer just amazed me. My favorite song on Story of the Year's Page Avenue CD is track number nine, Sidewalks. I enjoy the easiness of the song and the way it seems so beautiful yet has a rock/punkish feel to it. The other aspect of Story of the Year's music is how they include both "screamo" and "emo" music into Page Avenue. In the Shadows is a darker, more "screamo" song with a very rock like feel and awesome bass; compared to Sidewalks, which is I just explained, both songs have a rock feel but are two different types of musicality emotion which just strengthens the awesome talent and love for music Story Of The Year possess. I recommend this CD to anyone who is looking for a great CD that has outstanding lyrics about life, love, happiness, sadness, and just about any other emotion you can think of. Story of the Year is a rising band and will most liking be up there with Blink 182 because they most definitely have the talent and care for music to climb and succeed.
