First time using this kind of product so first time cleaning a mini-split unit also. It seemed mostly well thought out design points. The hard plastic side panels really helped stabilize and give rigidity to the cover itself. The benefit is water being sprayed doesn’t get behind this cover at the bottom elastic and French the drywall and floor. Also, the clear vinyl front flap was very effective at keep sprayed cleaning liquids out of my face.I think it could be a greatly improved kit were a small pump sprayer was included(like other similar kits have done). The job took far too long due have to use only a finger-pull type spray bottle. My forearms were cramping after awhile because the unit was never cleaned by previous owners of this house I recently purchased. The fam wheel was caked up with dust that had become mostly dark/blackened. It’s a very humid climate here so perhaps the dust builds mildew over time. It’s in an attached garage that’s kept very clean and seldom are the doors open as only way car is parked in the garage.
