Bright color so really stands out and not boring like most dog collars. My lab swims 2x a day in pool and the rubber material is perfect for thisI ordered a Large for my baby, she’s #66. I had to add an additional hole because it was too big. It took more work than I was expecting but that shows durability. It’s been easy to clean and wash off dirt.we were excited when 2 collars arrived. looked truly great. but we were disappointed with the inaccurate item description for the SMALL dog collar. it stated that the width is 5/8" but they're actually 3/4" and the slide-on metal tags wouldn't fit. so had to return them. This has quickly become my go-to brand for dog collars. Dealing with K-9 skin allergies, these collars can be easily cleaned. The rubber material is soft yet durable. The clasp and loop are nicely finished, well assembled, and heavy enough for larger breeds. The vibrant colors also catch many compliments. I now own 3 (and most likely others in the future). Five stars from me and my pitty! This collar is great, top quality and I would recommend it 100%! I keep it on my dog all the time no matter the weather even during swimming and bathes with no worry of it getting wet. No odor and the material is top quality. It is solid silicone and does not have a fabric inner core like other brands. My dogs are extra small and the width of the collar is perfect on them. They do not scratch at it like with other collars. The collar is very strong and I like the added safety feature of the buckle, it gives me peace of mind that the collar won’t accidentally come lose.We have had several Labrador Retrievers, and they do love to swim! Although we have always washed the nylon web collars frequently, they usually end up getting stinky after a while. We were looking for a collar to use in the water that would dry quicky and wouldn't start to smell. This one works just great, although it would not be the best collar to walk a powerful 80 lb dog. It works well to hold his tags when he is in the water, though. We have the bright green color, and we like the fact that it is easily visible on a black dog.The one observation is that the D ring on this collar is really thick! We use tag clips to move the dog tags easily from one collar to another, and the largest tag clips will not go onto this D ring. We solved the problem by putting some key rings onto the D ring, and then we fasten the clips to the key rings, but that makes the tags hang pretty low. Using a smaller D ring would make it better.Florida Hound Dog - loves to run in the woods & on occasion people will intercept him before he makes it back to me. Metal name tags often get detached, so I need a collar that I can write his name on... that won't get wet and/or dirty in muddy terrain. Embroidered name collars get dirty quickly & are useless. I bought a waterproof collar in the past, but the rubber material wrapped over a cloth collar and was thin, so it ripped easily (again... useless). The BOND collar is a solid piece of rubber, is very tough/sturdy, holds the Sharpie ink without fading, and completely repels water and mud. BRAVO!!!I highly recommend this collar for hunting dog dogs, dogs who play in nature, and dogs who like to run away. 5 STARS!!!I have a heeler mix. That should say it all. My dog has worn the same collar since I adopted her 5 years ago. I loved that collar, but I was telling her doggie daycare that - uh - the other dogs would find her scent of the day quite interesting - again! I do not even want to list what she and that collar have rolled in. She tries her best every day now to "scent" her new collar - LOL - and gets a bit frustrated that smelly things do not linger on her collar. I didn't want a foo-foo collar, I needed a working collar for a working dog - and I love this Bond collar. It's exactly what I've been looking for. Super easy to clean and I do believe we are close to testing every single smelly thing on the planet Earth!! Do you guys make a dog shampoo just as amazing as your collars are??I am adjusting my review after having this for about a year and a half. While it's super strong, still looks new and is a solution for dogs that swim, it can really hurt your dog. Over the past year around the neck the texture of my Golden's hair changed. I figured it's just dirt because she likes to roll around in dirt alot. Today we decided we should remove it with Clippers and noticed it was not dirt. It was excessive scabing. Our Golden on leash pulls a lot and because this is made of rubber with 0 padding it can really pull the hair around the neck and really dig into your dog's skin to the point they bleed. I feel terrible because this has apparently been going on for a year. Today she was pulling on lead and I noticed bleeding around her neck. Anyway, I'm buying a new collar now which prompted me to update this review. This collar is going in the bin.My 120 pound Golden doodle is hard on collars. He has never seen a body of water without plunging into it. He has lost numerous collars and dog tags due to his love of water. If he doesn't lose them they quickly become stinky. Those are not problems with this collar. It is a bit stiff and you will need to enlarge the hole to fit the buckle tang but overall it is a good choice for a soggy doggy. This seemed like a good quality collar, but I returned it. It felt very ridge and stiff and for a small dog I didn't think it would be good. When closed, because of the buckle, it formed an oval shape instead of a round shape, and because it is so ridged, it was pressing against the neck all the time. Loosening it would make it too big and it could slip off the neck. It might have loosened up over time if I kept it, but I didn't want my dog to be uncomfortable until that happened. I think it would be more suited to a regular size dog like a Labrador or Golden Retriever. I have a smaller rescue dog....something like a Jack Russel/Chihuahua/Minature Pincher mix and the collar didn't work for him. It's too bad because I think the quality was great, the style was great, and the price was good.I bought 2 of these collars for both my dogs. The collar broke as one of my dogs was leashed! There were no obvious signs that the collar was in poor condition, it looked fine.My dog is not super dog friendly and as soon as it broke open, took off after 2 other dogs. Things could have gone worse if she had not come back or gotten into a dog fight (or gone into traffic). I have a Boxer/Labrador mix who is around 60 lbs.It was a terrible and stressful experience, therefore I do not recommend at all, especially for larger breeds. My Jack Russell has the same collar and I will buy him a different kind as well. If my Jack Russell took off he would never return.I lost 100% trust in this product.Very dissatisfied and upset. If your dog likes to swim and roll on top of dead animals and skunk spray, this is the collar for you! Does not hold scent like leather or textile collars do! The coating on the metal does rub off on the collar, staining it (I had a pink one before). The collar lasted about 5 years before it snapped off randomly during the night. I rarely attached a leash to it - this new one I will never, so hopefully it will last longer. I recommend not using it to walk your dog, as you may lose your dog if the collar suddenly breaks!?
