Everything is as described EXCEPT the Quick Release feature. The main reason I bought two of this beautiful seat was for the 'Quick Release' feature; however, I have yet to figure out how the 'Quick Release' works. The YouTube video shows a totally different bracket than what came with my purchase.You might ask what is so wonderful about a 'Quick Release' feature? It allows the user to lift the seat off the commode to clean not only the toilet rim, but the seat and hardware...an awesome feature for individuals with colostomies!!!!Looks good and lids comes off ok. Like others mentioned the seat doesn't sit completely flat on bowl which worries me. Doesn't look like there is an adjustment for that. Hope it lasts without breaking.We moved into a rental house and, well, the toilet seats needed to be replaced. My daughter loves “purple” and this item seemed reasonably priced. Installation was easy once I overcame the challenge posed by a instructions written by someone who hadn’t quite crossed the language barrier. Hopefully, this will be durable - but for now, we are happy that it closes slowly, it’s comfortable, and the price was right.Beautiful seat, but doesn't quite fit properly in the toiletIt fit the holes and I installed it easily on an RV toilet but ghe lids wouldn't raise all the way because the bump in the rear of the toilet was in the way. See picture. Otherwise, product was great and return was acceptable easily.I did not install this because the old one that was here when I moved in was rust bolted on. Took plumber no time at all, and if it wasn't for the rusted on screws, I could have easily done this. I've had it for 6 months. The closing mechanisms all work, even if you force it down. The seat is comfortable and it is very pretty, it has not loosened, moved or wobbled at all, unlike others I had to constantly tighten. I'm 5'8 and about 145lbs. Also, I've never been complimented on a toilet seat until this one, even my daughters teenage friends compliment me on it thinking it is very expensive!!! I have never done a review on a toilet seat, yet sat on many!!! You will like it!!It is exactly what I needed. Closes quietly and the color matches my decor. It was very easy to install. Wish the nuts had a better grip or way to hold them to tighten. Over all it fits well, was very easy to install, colors/design looks very nice, feels solid to sit on. DOES NOT pinch the back of my leg like the one that came with the toilet.does not fit the toilet, was a bitch to install and wobbles when you sit on it. came with a terry cloth seat cover and rubber holder which i threw out. (impractical)
