Replaced our cracked one perfectly. Plus, I personally enjoy the vinyl design I put on it.Not as easy on & off like my old one but still quick to clean.What all can you say about a toilet seat?It's comfortableIt seams to be well builtI am very pleased with the installation hardware.Bought in 3/22 as second replacement for 20+ y.o. elongated toilet. VERY impressed with the fit, finish, and color match. NOT impressed with lack of directions - hence the 4 stars for some ratings. I can see how some people would be confused during install, since this one doesn't mount in the usual fashion. Would it cost that much to print up a bunch of the online instructions and put a 1/8 sheet of paper in the box?Having said that, it took about a minute of looking at the bolts and hinges to understand the concept. After that - it was a bout a 30 second install. I like that the bolts are self-centering too. The hinge molds are not very visually appealing, but seem to function well enough. There was some initial difficulty getting them to right width to fit down over the bolts, but not too much trouble. Having said that, it will be interesting to see how long the finish and hinges last...One other thing: the packaging was junk. Mfg. needs to realize delivery systems (drivers, loaders, etc.) don't follow the same "code" they used to... Things that are as poorly packaged as this - weak cardboard with no other "insulation" - nearly always end up damaged, as indicated by some of your reviews. Use a thicker cardboard and seal it up better at the very least... Follow up review to come.Simple to upgrade. The bolt caps can be a little hard to remove. But they are also sturdy. Cleans easilyOur original toilet seats were turning golden from age and flush spray, so I did a search and thought this was a good bet. They had 2 "used in very good condition" ones which usually means they came in damaged boxes or were returned in all the original packaging. I got them and they were perfect. After all, it's JUST a toilet seat. But within a week I was walking thru the house to use one of the new ones because they are SO comfortable. Also, the attachment levers are a LOT better than the ones with the flip top caps, which after a while start popping up on their own all the time. With this seat you just rotate the levers and lift the seat off the anchor posts. I love it for thorough cleaning! So, now, 2 months later, I've just ordered another "used" one for our 3rd bathroom. 5 stars all the way!Well made. Note how you take off your old one because you're gonna need that information to put on your new one.Installed slightly different than my old seats. A simple mounting instruction sheet would have been helpful. Easy once I saw how it mounted. Did 3 seats in 15 minutes & the new mounting system allows for quick seat removal.This was super easy to install...took all of 5 minutes. Looks great too. Complemento de mi primer comentario: a unas semanas de su uso, el asiento comenzó a rechinar cada vez que se abatía o se levantaba,un rechinado molesto, sobre todo por la noche. Traté de eliminarlo con aceite tres en uno y no funcionó, lo lavé y le puse lubricante de silicona y no funcionó. Bastante molesto con la compra.This is a solid item that was exactly what I wanted, BUT I didn't size it correctly. My toilet bowl is very much elongated, but this seat still sticks out a few inches too far. I have decided to keep it due to pure laziness, and in recognition that it was my mistake.
