So, bought this to cut a 1/4 inch thick sheet of acrylic. Cut through perfectly without any issues. I test-cut on the sheet with my jig saw first to get a feel for what I needed to do. Would highly recommend anyone cutting acrylic do that first even if you've cut acrylic before. Different blades work/cut differently. Found out the speed of the saw and my push speed to make it cut without chipping, melting, or having the cut close behind the saw. Worked perfectly for what I needed.
