It's leakproof and keeps my coffee hot.First I have ever had that does not leak. Now I have one for coffee and another for water.Does the job, though it’s hard to open sometimes when trying to take a drink, but it works nonetheless :)Great for cold drinks, not so good for hot drinks. The way the drink opening is shaped makes it hard to sip hot drinks without burning your lips. Larger lid opening with a deeper sipping area works better for coffee or tea.It do bgg t leak. it keeps his coffee hot all morning.Very good product love it keep my coffee really hot like 4 hoursThese are my favorite designed insulated mugs for the price. I have a few of other models with the same cap system. This one however feels rough while threading the cap back on and the rubber seal always pops out when unscrewing. Its going to eventually rip.For work coffee will not spill and keeps hotFine until after about a month of regular use then the rubber seal gave way and as I drank so the hot coffee leaked down my shirt. Not safe to use so sending it back. I liked the system but it needs a silicone seal rather than a rubber one which stretches with heat.Good for keeping drinks warm. However traveling with it the sealing system did not work so well. Coffee leaks common so have had to stop using it. Other contigo designs have been better. Shame.Not a great flask to keep your hot coffee hot as advertised for up to 7hours!!!Ive received my item in the 25th May, 6 weeks down the line my coffee went almost cold within less then 2 hours after I had put in my freshly made hot coffee in the flask for going to work. Finding it very upsetting trying to drink the coffee in the early morning ! Not Great value for money, I have now having to spend more money buying a cheaper flask for a better quality !The cup was great until the seal gave up the ghost after a little over a month of use. I'd been cleaning it regulary and then one day, the seal in the lid had dislodged and wouldn't go back into place, seemingly too large for the slot. I was really surprised at this, since I'd heard such good things about the brand.This was my second Contigo mug, the first a gift from my son that lasted 3 years. I bought this one as a replacement late last year. It has now failed after 5 months. The seal still works but drinks are luke warm after an hour, and the mug is in a warm van too. Not sure why this has suddenly happened, disappointing really…
