Great! Caught the mouse immediately. Love it. I ordered this one because it was the smallest plastic-free live trap I could find. It's a great steel construction, but it actually has two plastic pegs that hold the removable entrances in place. Well, at least it's nearly plastic-free. I read mixed reviews on this type, so the first thing I did was open it all up and check the mechanisms, and made some minor adjustments with needle-nose pliers.Mostly just adjusted to make sure the inside of the see-saw could swing up high enough behind the guard that the mouse would not have a gap to reach up & pull it back down. And also I moved the guards poking in from the tops of the removable entrances a little so that the doors could swing all the way up against the sides, instead of just up to where those guards hit it-- gives him more space to get trapped inside the entrance, I think, since the door now doesn't get stopped at the inward angle from those top guards. Anyway, then I washed it, with dish gloves, & continued handling with gloves to prevent too much human scent. Put a square of cardboard in it with peanut butter, and the mouse was in by morning. Took him to a park about 6 miles away on my way to work. Great!
