I have 12 budgies (parakeets) in 4 cages and indoor aviaries, so anything that is going to reduce mess is something that's going to peak my interest. When I started researching tidy seed feeders on Amazon I was really torn between King's Cages' Tweeky Clean and Creative Foraging's Seed Corral. They seemed similar, but the coral was almost $5.00 cheaper.So, I ordered two of each and now I'm going to share what I learned and maybe help out the next guy.Similarities:The basic design and size of these feeders is nearly identical. As far as basic usefulness, once installed, I don't think your going to see much, if any, difference. And they DO work! Nothing is going to completely stop birds from making a mess, but these feeders do greatly reduce the scattering of seed and hulls that usually ends up everywhere. Bravo and well worth it!Size is also basically identical. Both can be used inside the cage or outside, just depending on where you attach the hooks. Obviously outside is much easier. They will fit over any feeder (or probably breeder) door that is less than 5"x5".Both are designed for small to medium birds. I'm afraid your Amazon isn't going to be able to use this. These are for finches, canaries, parakeets/budgies, lovebirds, cockatiels and other similar sized fids.Differences:Straight out of the boxes the most obvious difference is weight and just a general perception of quality. The Tweeky Clean is heavier, it's thicker plastic/plexi and it just has a sturdier look and feel. The main body appears molded from a single piece. The body of the lighter weight Corral seems to have been produced in two pieces and then joined by a seam down the center. So far this has caused me zero issues, but I thought it was worth mentioning.The other big difference you'll notice is the hooks. The Tweeky comes with brass cup hooks that screw into the location of your choice. I found them easy to work with when hanging and they don't fall out when cleaning. The Corral comes with little, silver, metal hooks that kind of slot into the two optional locations. I found them a bit harder to attach to certain cages (though very easy on others). My biggest complaint would be that they are fairly easy to drop or lose when cleaning because they don't screw in firmly like those on the Tweeky. However, this is easily remedied if you just get in the habit of removing them as soon as you remove the feeder and put them someplace safe until ready to remount.Conclusion:These are both great feeders and do a good job at reducing mess. This really does seem to be a case of, "You get what you pay for.". You can pay a bit extra and get a feeder that's a bit more solidly built and a little easier to use with the better hooks. Or, you can save some cash and probably be perfectly happy with your Corral purchase.My only real suggestion would be that if you have heavier birds or enthusiastic chewers that are still within the size range you might be better off going with the heavier duty Tweeky.Personally, I'll be going with a few more Tweeky Cleans myself. Mostly because I have to change out a lot of seed holders a day and I don't want to worry about the hooks. The solid feel of them also makes me think they'll be with me for years to come and I'm just not quite as confident in the Seed Corrals.
