The feeder is really sturdy and easy to assemble. No tools are needed since a hex key is included and used for all the nuts and bolts. I read comments about the holes not lining up, but if you leave the bolts loose until all of them are in place, they line up perfectly. I drilled a few holes in the center bar for water drainage and find it's great for feeding deer.
