The cost was $35 and it’s charging me $26 to return it. I’m not sure why a uPS option and charging me $26Wish I got a bigger one. It’s very soft on the feet BUT if you have dogs that chew, this rug is very easy for them to snag and chew. I have fixed it and you can’t tell.After my husband measured carefully & aligned the runner so edges were straight he stapled it between the tread & the riser. The multi color of the runner is nice as it hides dirt. The runner looks beautiful on our stairs. The only negative is our two big dogs have snagged the runner with their claws. Pet owners may have 2nd thoughts about purchasing because of this.Practical for my purpose. Low price for the size!Perfect in every way.We bought the larger version of this rug first. It took the better part of a month to arrive, and it came folded up in a rectangular box which has left it with permanent creases. So that's 2 strikes. But we decided we could live with it and purchased another, smaller one to match for our dining room. But after 2 months, I have to say I am unimpressed with how this rug is wearing under normal conditions. The rug material has taken on that fuzzy frayed sweater look some material gets when something scratchy (like dog paws or the bottoms of your feet) have been walking on it.I cannot recommend this rug under normal to heavy traffic conditions. I suspect I will be replacing both these rugs within a year or two.I have been looking for a rug that my 2 mini Dachshunds won’t snag with their nails after many failed attempts I finally found this rug and I’m very satisfied love it!!! It’s very soft easy too clean and so pretty couldn’t be happier!!! Ordered 2 more for different rooms!If you love the look of sisal or jute, but your bare feet don’t like the texture, this is the rug for you. The rubber backing ensures it doesn’t move. I had an outdoor rug for the inside of our entryway. It kept sliding and rippling, no matter what pad I used underneath it. I bought this based on the reviews. I will definitely be buying more, as this looks and feels natural looking. I was hesitant with some negative reviews, but I’m so happy with this purchase.We needed a temporary rug while refurnishing a room. Since the arrangements weren't permanent, we didn't want to spend big bucks. Also, we liked the look of natural/sisal rug with a wide border, but we knew genuine sisal could be prickly (we have one in the house), so we decided to give this rug a shot.It's affordable and looks like real sisal yet soft to the touch. However, it gives out VOC like crazy! Off-gassing took at least a week (we had to remove it from the room so that no one got noxious)! It has become much less offensive in a couple weeks, but we couldn't help wondering how "harmful" it is to our health. Plus, the border is less than satisfactory; not made of cotton but some paper-thin, shiny, fake-looking material which was very poorly sewn on.It's a shame because this rug could be a very good "substitute/alternative" for a real sisal rug otherwise.Absolutely terrible product - sloppy workmanship, cheap, ugly, smelly. Nothing like the description and pictures shown, false information.The customer service - the worst ever, dishonest, .Stay away from this seller, do not buy. To return the rug, you will need to pay at least 20% just to get rid of it. Also, watch if you actually get the refund money for the rug. The seller, despite receiving the product back, do not do the refund until you contact the seller about it..Trust me, based on my experience with this product and seller - stay away.We selected the 8x10 silver grey version. It’s actually darker than what is shown in the stock pictures but it works well with our space. There was a chemical smell upon opening which is consistent with the smell you get with brand new wall-to-wall carpeting (it dissipated in a day).Very good value for a decent faux sisal. Good thickness, it’s substantial without being overly thick. Shipping was very quick via UPS. With a small dog in the home and occasional accidents, we like to replace our rugs fairly often so this fit the bill nicely.I like that it is thin and durable. Loved it so much i ordered the 4*6 for the bbq area. Turned out to be too small, put that one on the front porch. Looks beautiful there. People take their boots off before stepping on it 'cause it looks so good. Bought the 6*8 for the BBQ area. Looks great there. Happy with the purchase. It feels very good on my bare feet. Only time will tell how long it will last with Canadian weather.
