Fits the purposeThese were perfect for my dining room table and was looking forward to using them, however, they were shipped folded, and there’s a big crease in all six of them that won’t come out. So disappointed that I can’t use them.We have gone through many placemats but these work great and I can rinse them off and dry them outside naturally. Use them dailyI was looking for cloth placemats but ended up getting these instead. I am very pleased with them. They are waterproof and wipe off very easily. They are also a very nice unfaded black. They always look neat and clean on the table and do protect the table from liquids. Great with 2 Grandsons!Biggest pro is the price. Very inexpensive, especially since I need six so the options that come in sets of four mean I need to buy two.Also good is the backing which means water doesn't seep through. I have a similar set of placemats which is woven without the backing and setting a glass down means you get a ring of water on the table.Unfortunately there are several cons:They stain really easily. I have no idea why but scrubbing and bleach do nothing.There's nothing special about the edges which makes them look cheap. Now they ARE cheap so that's okay, but it would be nice if they didn't look it quite so much.I doubt they offer any real heat resistance. My table finish is particularly sensitive to heat so I wouldn't set a coffee cup down without a coast also and if a plate is really hot I'll add a hot pad. I'm not going to risk damaging my table to test it, though.The placemats are waterproof, without looking like it.I would say the only thing is that spaghetti sauce will not come off of it... It takes great effort to get it out! Other than that these are absolutely amazing!Really nice placemats. Love the feel and style. Mi bebe tiro puré en uno de ellos y confiado en que eran antimanchas ni lo limpie inmediatamente y bueno la mancha ya quedó para la eternidad, tendré finalmente que tirar el mantel.They are beautiful but the stains will not come out. I tried everything I know of but no luck.I do not recommend these placemats at all. Also if you try to return them it costs you not the company.A real "rip off".The grooves do not make it as easy to clean. They are good quality and seem like they will last a while.Poor quality. Staining easily and all edges curl up. Three months old and almost ready to be replaced.Si vous le salissez, vous n’avez qu’à le rinser à l’eau. Ne salit pas votre table.
