Standing 4 inches tall, our system provides flexibility of height based on how deep you install the edging. Unlike plastic roll edging systems, you do not need to dig a trench to install our edging, saving you hours of time and frustration. Our edging system is flexible and can conform to the shape of your landscaping, even allowing you to creat circles around your trees. And should frost or ground heaves push your edging up over time, our sytem can easily be put back to its original depth in seconds by simply hammering it back down - unlike the challenges of retrenching required with plastic roll edging.
EASY TO INSTALL Simply align the edging where you want it and drive it into the ground to your preferred depth. The edging sections are joined together cleanly and the system is secured in place with the 12 inch steel stakes provided. Unlike plastic edging rolls, you do not need to dig a trench, saving hours of work and frustration. And our steel edging is much stronger than aluminum edging - it will not bend or buckle during installation.
CONFORMS TO YOUR EDGING SHAPE & BUILT TO LAST Design Specialties steel edging can easily be bent for gentle curves and tree rings. It can also be bent up to 90 degrees for sharp corners. Our edging is laser cut from 16 gage steel (1/16" thick) and made in the USA.
PICK YOUR COLOR & LENGTH Edging is available in 3 durable exterior-grade powder coat paint finishes - Textured Black, Solar Bronze and Dark Pewter. Design Specialties metal edging comes in 3 different lengths - 3 ft, 4 ft and 5 ft. Each pack comes with 4 pieces of edging and 5 Installation stakes. 3 ft pack - 12 ft, 4 ft - 16 ft, and 5 ft - 20 ft. Should your installation require an odd length, you can simply overlap two edging sections and secure each end with the enclosed stakes.
ADJUSTABLE OVER TIME Should you experience a seasonal frost heave that pushes edging systems out of the ground over time, the Design Specialties steel edging system can easily be hammered back into the ground again in seconds - unlike plastic edging rolls that required you to dig a new trench to return it to its original depth.
