Felicity moves back to where her twin sister lives after yet another employment is terminated. Hoping to reconnect with her sister and figure out her next opportunity, she is surprised when she discovers the sisters have inherited a doughnut shop in a small town about an hour away. They used to go fishing there with their father, and Polly's donut shop was always their favorite stop. Obviously the girls made an impression, because Polly left the now closed shop to the girls in her will. Unfortunately Felicity's sister Natalie is the baker. But with the help of a family friend Jamison (who lost a bet) it is Felicity who is in the doughnut business. Once she figures out how to actually make doughnuts... and gets the building cleaned from top to bottom. Oh yeah, there's an issue with the whole town as well. This story was so much fun! I loved the determination of the characters as they faced mountains of dirt and disorder as well as a dying town and a stinky pickle factory! Laughs are paired with loneliness and missing family members. Success and failure go hand in hand. But Felicity doesn't give up and neither does Jamison, no matter how long it takes to figure out the right thing to do. Sweet with a HEA that warms your heart. I loved it!
