1) Easy to InstallI have to concur with the claim that it is easy to install. I'm not a handy person, and I was able to do this will just a flat head screwdriver to remove the old seat. No additional tools were needed to actually install it. Some people say they did it in 5 minutes. Theoretically I can see that for someone experienced with doing this before. For the non-handy non-experienced person who can read, it took me a total 30 minutes with half the time spent reading the instructions, 5 minutes spent removing and the old seat, and 10 minutes putting this one on. That's still really quick though considering we're talking about someone who really didn't know what they were doing.2) Looks Good (Colors slightly darker than advertised)I picked the "wood" color trying to match my hardwood. What I got was slightly darker than expected and makes me think that I maybe should have gone with the "oak" color. However, it's not so dramatically off as to actually look bad. I'm including a photo so you can judge for yourself, but I think it actually looks really good.3) Functions as AdvertisedI haven't tried the quick release hinges feature, but it did come with a small tool to do that with (good luck not losing that!). However, the quiet close feature very much works in regards to both the seat and lid. You can manually lower them quicker, but they do drop slowly rather than just slam down. Also just as easy to clean as a porcelain seat due to its coating.4) ComfortableIt's made out of real wood, but it coated so it feels just as comfortable as a porcelain seat. No complaints here.Overall: ExcellentI've only had this for a couple of weeks, but so far I'm pleasantly surprised. This was great value for the money! I half expected some cheap material that loosely looked like wood, but it's real wood, and It literally looks like and works as advertised!This is a beautiful seat and strongTook me a few min to get everything tightened up and installedI really like the synthetic wood material.and the slow close hinges. But the quick release feature pops the seat off one of the hinges quite often.i need to go forward and use my arms to help me get up because I'm recovering from a stroke. One of the quick release things pops the seat off the hinge and I could fall . In a fewore weeks I hope I will be be strong enough to get up more normally..but the quick release is a not a wise addition to an otherwise nice toilet seatI purchased this toilet seat in May of this year and the Hinge wood screws on the left bottom seat stripped out of the wood composite today. I managed to repair this by drilling pilot holes about 1/8" away from the original holes to reattach the hinge using the same wood screws and it seems to work fine for now. This is a design flaw that should be investigated. The design is not conducive to the use of plastic inserts therefore, I suggest that the entire seat be made from solid oak instead rather than this composite with an oak veneer.Ok I just got it today and have taken one dump to test the comfort level and it was fine. It definitely is not wood and doesn't feel like wood. It was so fast to install it took literally 3 minutes without instructions. How it lasts? We will seeThe screws underneath consistently loosen with use (plastic) and now the top hinge comes completely out of socket and the seat moves from side to side. It's disappointing because I bought the same seat from the same company last year for my old house and had no issue whatsoever. I buy 2 for my new house and they both loosen. I can't return bc I missed the window - I just bought these in May so it's only been 3 months. So unfortunate.We bought our house five years ago and it already had a wooden toilet seat. The toilet seat started cracking (a downside to using wooden seats), so we had to purchase a new seat. We have had this seat for a few months now, and so far no cracks! There is a protective layer on the wood to help preserve the wood. The seat cover also doesn't slam, it slowly closes. I use plant-based and nontoxic all purpose cleaner to clean the wooden toilet seat. I do not recommend using any strong chemicals (bleach or alcohol) on the wood or it may burn through the protective layer of the wood and cause it to wear out and crack quicker.Better than I thoughtI received this product today and I’m very unhappy and disappointed with it. First off, it took a very long time to install, now that it is installed, it does not stay in place and moves from side to side, it’s dangerous to sit on, especially for my grandmother who is 95 years old and I’m very afraid for her that she will fall down from the toilet seat when she will use it. I threw away my old toilet seat and that was my mistake. I should have kept it just in case this new one did not work.This is not a good product. Plus, in addition, when I close the cover of this toilet seat, it shuts with a loud bang!!!!It’s is a safety hazard.Especially for older and heavier set people.I have messaged the seller of this product to see if they can do something about this bad product and equally bad and unsafe experience.Not solid wood. Screws pulled out of seat section..比較的、女性でも取り付けは簡単です。便座がまあまあ重く、取り付け時、左手の薬指を蓋に挟んでしまい、剥離骨折しました。くれぐれも気を付けて、取り付けください。あと、蓋がゆっくり閉まるので、開けるのも少し重めです。蓋を閉めて流したい人には不向きがも。逆に言えば、バタンと音を立てて閉まらないので、どちらを優先したいかでしょうか。あまり口コミが良くなかったので不安でしたが、木製便座が欲しくて購入しました。。。商品自体綺麗でしっかりした造りになっているのですが、INAXの便器には気持ち長さが足りず…取付ける為のネジの長さが短くて取付けられませんでした。ホームセンターで同じ太さの長いネジを購入し何とか設置出来ました。ネジ穴が幾つかあり調整出来るので、便器に合う様、調整しました。耐久性がどれだけあるか分かりませんが、トイレがオシャレになり満足です。古い住宅でトイレに電源がなくウォシュレットは付けられず、ならばオシャレなトイレに…と選びました。取り付けも、30分以内でできました。色も手触りも良く、作りもしっかりしています。男の子が多いので、ゆっくり開閉に魅力を感じて購入したのですが、期待通りでバタバタしません。ただ、冬は木製でも便座が冷たいです。他は大満足です。
