Seat is extra large and I love how there are no hydraulics in it, it’s all up to you where you want it. It’s like the old school ones were you turn it one way to go up and the other way to go down. Well worth the money and something that will last for ever. I use it in my craft room and in my kitchen... love it! If your short order the one with shorter legs this one is a bit higher then I needed. I guess I was thinking I was still 5’8 lol!This is an excellent product and I highly recommend it to everyone who is not obese. If, however, you are very overweight, this stool presents some challenges. The padding is excellent and comfortable, however, if you are like me and 80 pounds overweight you can have the experience of collapsing the padding just enough to create a less than secure seat. So if you are a reasonable weight (less than 225 pounds) I think this seat will work for you. Also, with the screw adjustment, it is very reliable and unlike chairs that depend on hydraulic lifts to adjust heights, this screw adjuster keeps you chair at the given height with no variation. Again, for normal to large people a great chair. For extra large people not so good. The fix for this of course is that I am going on a diet. :-)It's the only stool I have every purchased, so I can't compare to anything else. The quality of the stool itself is solid and sturdy. I have had it for almost a year. You just need to attach the casters when the shipment arrives. The one thing I really hate about this stool is the cushion. It is terrible. You sink right into the wooden base, so the cushion is pretty useless. I'm 175lbs. I've been toughing it out, but have just ordered a high quality foam that I plan to upholster myself on this stool when it arrives. There are lesser expensive stools out there, but not sure what you get. I wish I could offer a comparison for you.Well made. We've had this roller stool for about 3 months now and it's obvious that it will last for years. Very simple to connect the mid section to the roller stand and then add the top--a child can put it together. High quality. Adjustable.I totally love this stool. I use it everyday in my studio and I needed a stool that had the ability to be short to med height. This is great. I love Safeco products.Sturdy, assembles in seconds, and very comfortable. I have a couple of these around my home studio as piano/keyboard benches. They roll reasonably well on carpet.This is the perfect height for working with preschoolers and the small tables that come with this population. All the other stools my coworkers and friends bought were too big to fit under the table. With this chair, my knees actually can still fit under the small tables. The seat doesn't have as much cushion, but if you're not sitting in it the whole day, it's not that uncomfortableI use this stool for my home computer desk. It is very comfortable and well made. It slides under the desk nicely providing a more streamlined fit than a chair. It also helps with my posture - I tend to sit more balanced and am not able to slouch against chair arms or backrest. The casters are smooth and the seat swivels smoothly without any noise or play in it.The best price available was on Amazon when I purchased mine.I like it so much I find myself sitting on it to watch TV - recommend placing a pillow or cushion on the seat because vinyl covered seats do not breathe well.Reasonable delivery time and looks functional, would purchase again.
