It does good with detangling, it’s just frustrating how the bristle part slides out pretty easilyIt does what I need it to, and quite well. Definitely worth what I paid for it, as it tames my bushy hair without pulling any of it out.works good for what its for, combs my hair just fine .I bought this to help de-tangle my hair on wash days. The brush does the job but the piece tends to slip out very easily which just adds time to the de-tangle process but it’s not a huge issue. The brush overall is ok.A great brush. Gets hair to cooperate.Oddly one of the bristles on the end of a row is shorter than the others so it doesn’t even touch my head when brushing. It took some pressure to get the brush apart, but once apart was pretty cool taking bristles out of the rubber piece to clean out the hair. Took a few tries to get it back together, very tight fit.This brush is well made and works great.The only thing that should be changed is the sharpness of the bristles. They come to a pretty fine point and can be a bit scratchy on your scalp sometimes. They should be a little more rounded at the tips, and that would make the brush perfect. (Continuous improvement recommendation)However, I am very satisfied with the brush overall.decent brush.I would not recommend this product for people with curly hair (my hair isn’t really Ben coarse). It’s very cheaply made. After only a couple uses, it broke apart (I’ve never had that happen). The bed of the brush is made of rubber, and it’s not even glued to the “holder” portion.. so it’s constantly sliding out. Very disappointed.My daughter has VERY thick and curly hair, so I thought this would help. After using it for over a month this is what she has to say.It works great as a surface type brush but she can’t get it all the way through her hair like she can other brushes. Her hair does not get tangled in it as it does in most brushes. She only uses it while her hair is dry. As far as stretch and sheerness rating I said 5 - however I have no clue why you would rate a brush on those features. So my rating is on the overall use of the brush. The quality is nothing super, it’s average at best. It doesn’t use boar bristles which is a plus for vegans.I've bought hair brushes from Amazon before, and they were great. But this one is so cheap. The handle doesn't fit comfortably in my hand, and the brush part is really weak.There's another model somewhere, choose it. It's a bit more expensive, but it will be much more satisfactory.i was excited! i i took the brush into the bathroom to clean and set up, i started removing alternating rows of bristles and one of them snapped - what? ok i don't need this row, moving on. i get in the shower and get my hair clean and wet and full of slippery products, i use my perfect haircare brush to detangle, i grab a section of my hair and this brush won't slide through my hair. i get a comb and it slides right through, try this brush again and it just sorta hangs in the hair. this is the sort of brush that gets cut out of children's hair. avoid!I bought this brush and it is no anywhere near the quality of a real Denman brush. The brush handle is very flimsy and I believe will not withstand regular use Just brushing through my hair I can feel the handle bend. I will keep it in my car for general use and will spend the extra money on a real Denman brush next time.
