They have a wonderful scent . They are great for cleaning , toning, and refreshing your complexion .I don’t wear makeup so I don’t know how good they work at removing it. I just use one every night to cleanse my face before bed. The first package I received of these they smelled a little off to me but I used them anyway. I forgot I had them on my subscribe and save and got another package this month. The ones I got this month smelled totally different. They smell like fresh pineapples. They smell good. So I only gave it a 4 for scent because I don’t know if I got a yucky batch that smelled kind of like rotten pineapples last month and the real scent is what I got this time with this package. ? I guess I will find out next month TBD.Best face towelette I have tried. The same is heavenly and it cleans well without drying my faceSince I shower at night and remove my day's makeup then, I simply wash my face in the morning before applying makeup. As I approached 40 I noticed many of the face washes were leaving my face feeling dry or making me break out. I discovered these wipes at TJ Maxx and thought I'd give them a try. I have been using them as my morning face routine every day since (2 years now)! When the stores all shut down because of Coronavirus, I was able to order these from Amazon for nearly the same price as I was paying at TJ Maxx. I will probably continue to order here if the price stays the same because the convenience make it worth it. NOTE: I do not use these to remove makeup so I cannot attest to how well they remove makeup, however I am happy with how they remove the oiliness of sleep and give me a fresh face for applying the day's makeup.First off, the pineapple scent is overwhelming. Second, they leave your skin tacky. These are cheap, and now I know why. Once I realized how much I dislike these as face wipes, I used them to get sticky or cooked on messes off of the glass stovetop and counters and for that, they worked great, but I still had to go over the spots with cleaner so the counters and stove wouldn't be sticky.I have no complaints about this product. I don't wear make-up and use as a facial wash. Some have commented that the towelettes aren't very thick, however, I find it has no bearing on their effectiveness. Plus, they are quite sturdy, and certainly capable of cleansing, removing make-up, and being a toner. Some have also commented that this product causes their faces to sting. I haven't experienced this, but I think it may have something to do with the fact that it is also a toner that has citrus products in it. It has a pleasant light scent, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin (my face sometimes can be very red, inflamed). Overall, a very good product, with excellent ingredients!Love for travelI use ALBA’s face wash and have for years so I figured these wipes would work great for me but they do not at all. I broke out very badly from using these which surprised me so I will be sticking to my simple wipes or no wipesexcellent item ... works wellEasily the best facial whipes I've ever used! It really does all those nice things it says on the packaging. Money we'll spent.It's a bit on the dry side so I hafta rub it a bit harder to clean my makeup off. I won't be buying again.Also, Alba Botanica may want to consider putting a plastic snap lid on top of this pouch in future production. No biggie!These are great facial wipes for travel. I also tend to use them on nights where I've got a lot of makeup to get off my face. These remove what most cleansers do not.I've tried so many different types of makeup remover wipes, and these are my absolute favourites. I've been using them for 3 months now, and they don't agitate my eyes or skin and make my face feel refreshed.
